The Telangana government is planning to lay a Regional Ring Road (RRR) around the existing Outer Ring Road on the fringes of Hyderabad.

The RRR would to be 338 km long and 500 feet wide covering Sangareddy-Gajwel-Chowtuppal-Mal-Kadthal-Shadnagar-Chevella-Kandi. He hoped that the proposed RRR would be better than the present Mumbai-Pune and Ahmedabad-Vadodara express highways. Junction roads linking Vijayawada, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Nagpur would be developed. At these junctions, the government would set up facilities like parking, food-courts, rest-rooms, parks, children playing areas, shopping malls and drinking water in 300 to 500 acres.
